Samsung should have an option to trade in the phone to a local Samsung center... I was going to trade in an old iPhone 5 that I still had that is in mint condition but I had almost forgotten about the fiasco that people had with this before with their trade ins. Hmmm... Even in mint condition, would Samsung actually credit $425 for an iPhone 5 - the same value as the newer iPhones they would take? I find that hard to believe they would.

It's says so on their terms and conditions. I just bought a iPhone 5 used to trade it for this promo. Works out nicely.

Tmobile always teases like that with the Note 7 and s8 and you get it a day before. They can't ship super early anymore.

Just read the whole T&C for the trade In.
Nowhere does it mention Sim Card Lock.
It only mentions "Has Reactivation Lock, Google Factory Reset Protection, or any other anti-theft locking software disabled"

Hmmm I could have sworn I saw somewhere the phone had to be unlocked or completely paid off (if leasing)...I will have to confirm this

Well my order status finally changed to "Preorder" and gotten an confirmation email. But it says it will ship week of the 25th September but I preordered today so I guess it's to be expected. It is Unlocked and I am using the Note 7 promo. Although my gear 360 says it's supposed to ship on the 14th. Weird.

Mine says it will ship on the 11th, and will be delivered "2 days from shipping date"
So I must be getting mine on the 13th!
