I'm not seeing the "Check your eligibility" when I try and purchase on the Samsung site. I am logged in as a member with a Samsung account. I'm trying to purchase a Verizon phone, not a TMobile phone. What do I need to do?

Can you trade in two phones for the Note 8? I got the S7 Edge that was my Note 7 replacement AND I have my dads old S5 which says $200. So can you combine the two for $500?

A safer option would be to not roll the dice and see if I can unload my S7 Edge on my mom for close to $300. She hates her cheap LG phone. She never texts or uses internet on her phone, just phone calls. I think the S7 Edge would be great for minor use.

People blasted me on here for selling my dad my S7 when the S8 came out. Saying I should have just given it to him because of all the money they spent on me. I have to make a penny somewhere.

I'm hoping to open an online business within the next 6 months so I wonder if it might be better to wait because they I can use the Note 8 as a tax write off.

Go to samsung.com. Scroll down to the black box where it says note7 owners part as seen in my screenshot I am showing you. That is where you do it.

Deal of the century for me, ordered from Samsung and don't really care when I'll get it but they also upgraded shipping too "ORDER IS DELIVERED 2 BUSINESS DAYS FROM SHIPPED DATE" (Pre-order ships 09/11/17)

$556.50 was my total
$654.99 was the savings
$21.88 is the monthly payment (paying over $33 now)

... all in all it's a pretty good deal. I still have the 256gb card from the Note 7 offer back then so I went with the free 360.

for those that have either just done it or have done it in the past, how does the trade part work? Will i be able to keep the phone to be traded until i receive the note 8, or do I send it in ahead of time?

Also if I remember correctly doesnt samsung struggle to get phones out to people who get them direct?

Yea, they'll prob send an empty box to pack your old phone in to send off to the carrier or something.

Another plus (other than this phone only costing me $21 /mo after the discounts) is that they do free overnight shipping or 2-day... either way, my receipt says ships 9/11 so you "should" be receiving the phone before the actual release day of 9/15 by like a day or 2.

It's two day shipping. I would expect it Sept 14th, one day before launch just like with the Note 7 and S8. no more super early shipments.

So, if you are on a payment plan and still owe a few hundred on a S7 Edge, you're SOL? My BF turned in his Note 7 for the S7 Edge on payment plan.

Went ahead and ordered direct through Samsung to take advantage of the Note 7 deal rather than do the JoD through T-Mobile. Can't pass up on getting the phone half off. Also chose the 360 camera for the gift. Figure I'll sell it and use the money to get one of those gear s watches.

I'm gonna try and badger my parents in letting me use their credit card again so I can get the $425 off and pay them when I sell the s8 Plus. I need the money in the bank for my business soon. Gotta find a way to badger them. My credit card is too high and can't put more on it.

I received an email from Samsung that said the phone and the camera will be shipped 9/11. I think I saw someone else say the same thing. So happy I ordered direct from Samsung.

Traded-in my note 5 for unlocked note 8. Also, used ebates when ordering through Samsung and that gave me back an additional $84. That's like zeroing on tax.

Just placed my order for the Orchid Gray T-mobile device with memory card and wireless charger gift. I am trading in my iPhone 5 for the $425 credit based on the Note 7 fiasco. This will be my first time ordering from Samsung directly. I almost ordered the Unlocked Blk, but really wanted the Orchid Gray color, and what little bloat T-mobile stuffs in their devices is not that bad.
