Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

So if I trade in a iPhone 5, I will get 425.00 off the price because I had the Note 7?

I just wanted to make sure I was reading it right before I pulled the trigger.

You're correct, but make sure to take pics of the iphone and such in case the third party company rejects it for BS reasons.

Thanks. I just bought a Grade A refurb from Newegg for 79.00 to trade-in. I will make sure I take the pics too before I send it in.

I'll probably order tomorrow when I talk to my dad about using his credit card again. How long is the promotion going on?

This is from Samsung's Note 7 promotion page.

1Must be 18+ & 50 US/DC res. From*8/24/17 – 9/24/17*(“Purchase Period”), purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note8 phone with Samsung Financing or outright purchase at full retail price (“Qualifying Purchase”).

Ah, so I'm safe then.

Hi, I have a question. If I get the unlocked version, would there be features removed from Verizon? I heard something about HD voice being removed. Is that correct? Thanks.

Note 7 Rebayes Program for Note 8 Shipping Out Early

Preordered Note * with $425 Rebate- Not sure if read it from Samsungs site( think I did) or Web-Said Note & Pre Orders with rebate will receive before September 15th based on ordering time.
Did anyone one else see this?
If so could you let me/us know when order was placed and when you received it?
Also it gave you the opportunity of choosing one of the two freebie packages when ordering. If it comes with phone inform as well?
Happy with the promotion!

I wish I would have done then instead of picking the Note 5 option, although the Note 5 screen is ever so slightly starting to go bad, some light purple spots, so I would have had a hard time re-selling it.

Purchased on the Samsung site.

Scheduled to arrive 9/14/17

$568.44 was my total
$654.99 was the savings

I, too, still have the 256gb card from the Note 7 offer back then so I went with the free 360.

Just placed my order for the Orchid Gray T-mobile device with memory card and wireless charger gift. I am trading in my iPhone 5 for the $425 credit based on the Note 7 fiasco. This will be my first time ordering from Samsung directly. I almost ordered the Unlocked Blk, but really wanted the Orchid Gray color, and what little bloat T-mobile stuffs in their devices is not that bad.

I've always ordered through carriers. This is also my first time going through Samsung. Hope the experience is a good one.

I'm missing something.. How is your savings $654?

Who else pre ordered on day 1and they have take the cash already? I paid with PayPal and the money had been already taken from my bank account. Does this mean early shipping?

Please talk here if you're ordering unlocked/directly from Samsung!
Is the special opportunity for note 7 owners only in the US? I'm in Canada and don't see this anywhere on the website and when I called Samsung they don't me there is nothing for note 7 owners

Ok thanks. I've never pre ordered direct from Samsung before how does it work once I get the new phone do I just switch the SIM card over and I'm good to go or would I have to go into att and get it all set up?
Last 2 phones, I just switched the SIM cards. I'm on AT&T too. Hate those $45.00 activation fees. For doing absolutely nothing!

I tried to order through the website, but when it comes to the financing page it tells me they couldn't process my request and try again later. Anyone else having these issues?
