This really stinks I paid extra for overnight and I might not get it until Wed it looks like unless UPS picks it up tomorrow morning. No tracking info yet. Just says it was shipped.

This really stinks I paid extra for overnight and I might not get it until Wed it looks like unless UPS picks it up tomorrow morning. No tracking info yet. Just says it was shipped.
I did too, but I'm not sure any have actually go e out yet. My guess is they will be picked up Tuesday and delivered Wednesday. My order from Samsung said the 11th to begin with so I am not that upset.
I learned a while ago with pre orders paying for overnight shipping is usually a waste. Most people who order first thing get it on the same day anyway.

I ordered my Sprint version from Samsung.com on Aug 26th. Still shows pre-order. Sure hope mine doesn't change to backordered!
I'm a little confused. You will be getting overnight, if they ship Tuesday, you will get it Wednesday.

That.. doesn't matter. Overnight shipping means you get it the next day after it ships. It doesn't mean you're going to beat other orders. It all depends when it ships.

I just contacted tech support and they said sept 6 shipping starts. I hope I get it by Fri then because I might be getting hit by a hurricane this weekend.

It all depends on when they ordered etc. Also, nothing is being shipped tomorrow as it is a holiday, so no update until Tuesday. Patience is key. My order still shows as pre-order. Hasn't even been confirmed, but I know that regardless I will get the phone. You have to understand that either way you will get the phone before the actual release of the phone. Doesn't matter if you get it Tuesday or the Thursday before release. You're still getting it early. I understand there is a hurricane coming but Samsung has nothing to do with that. They still have to ship according to their rules and who ordered first etc.

Have I missed something? Does anyone have reason to believe they're getting theirs on Tuesday? Mine says shipped but with the holiday tomorrow I'm not expecting it before Wednesday
Totally agree with that. Since no updates to shipping all day today, i expect to see an update on Tuesday saying I'll receive it Wednesday. That's still 9 days before official release which I will gladly take considering that last year people who ordered directly from Samsung didn't receive their N7 till later release day. I ordered from Samsung to get the 425 discount, and i fully expected not to get my phone until the 15th or later based on track record, so anything before then is a bonus.

No one hasn't gotten even a origin scan.. Just one person freaking out. At this point we don't actually know when it's getting delivered. We can most likely see movement late Tuesday night and then may be Wednesday or Thursday delivery based on if you choose overnight or free 2 day or may be they shipped everyone overnight. We will know more once we get an origin scan.

According to the chat with the rep I just had probably not until Thur or Fri now since it ships the 6th according to them.

Here is my experience with Tmobile and UPS preorders.
When Items ship I will get a tracking number and it may not work for a while.
Also it may not start movement until 10PM or so at night and i Still get it the next day.
Being tomorrow 9/4 is a holiday Tuesday delivery would be the earliest.
And normally I won't see Movement until 10PM or later Monday night for next day delivery.
Moral of the story, We won't know for a while.... Just have patience.

If that hurricane comes anywhere near us -- a phone will be the least of our worries. I hope it curves off :/

GFS model running right now has a cat 5 hurricane hitting Miami then traveling in the middle of the state and about 90 miles to my east. If this shifts 100 miles to the west the track on the next model run and heads due north, I could have a cat 5 on the west coast, I live in Charlotte County and would be same path as Charley only bigger and stronger. My house would be flooded with surge and gone anyway. On this model run Miami would be demolished.
