I'm happy as well. I ordered August 24th at 930 AM. It would be nice to know if we will be at this status for a few days or a few hours.

My status changed between midnight and 6 AM.

Just got my Note 8!!! I ordered through the Note7 promotion but I didn't get a package to send my trade in device in..? Weren't they supposed to send something to send in my trade in device? Thanks!

Mine has finally switched to confirmed! Still not tracking or delivery dates but at least something changed!

I keep getting my hopes up and nothing!! Still pre-order status.

Honestly, no one can really make that determination. It's up to Samsung when they decide to pack and ship your phone. I got a confirmation notice on Friday and received my tracking on Sunday night. But, it didn't go live until Tuesday night. Others got the same notice on Friday, but didn't get tracking until Monday or Tuesday. Some people are getting theirs delivered today, others tomorrow. Some went from confirmed to backordered to shipped in a span of 2 hours. Samsung has no organization determined. They're just getting them out when they can. We can only wait and see.

I *think* someone on this thread, way back, said they called Samsung & were told a bunch of too early or bad tracking numbers were listed?

I'm curious to see if when you get your new tracking number, if it's the same one that was listed pre-maturely... Or maybe whomever was shipping them out, messed up and they're sending out via a new company? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lol. That was me who called. The tracking number ended up being the same. It being active again after a couple hours after UPS sent me a notice.

Placed order on 9/6, said it would ship by the 15th. No hope on that based on conversations going on here. More worried about the $425 trade in being honored.

That's at least something. Now if we can get others to reply as well we could probably formulate some sort of time frame. For you it took 2 days to get from confirmed to a tracking number. That's a start.

Patiently waiting, and have no problem with receiving mine on the 14th, however it kinda sucks when two of my friends pre-ordered as of Tuesday (two days ago), and have already received tracking info. I pre-ordered mine on the 24th and haven't had a single status change. My friends that pre-ordered did so through their carriers. If I have to wait longer because I ordered the unlocked version, then that's fine. Definitely first world problems for sure.

I ordered on Tuesday. Nada so far

BTW, do they all come from some Southeastern hub or something. I live in MA so does phone have to go to Kentucky to get to me?
