The part that says it's not compatible with my device.

Ok maybe irony is the wrong term, although I do find it ironic that my Samsung phone doesn't work with their Samsung app.

That is ironic. It appears that uninstall is not an option. Have you tried force stop or deleting the email account and re-adding?
