Does anyone know how financing works through Samsung with TD Bank? I assume they will send me information and the contract either by email or snail mail about how to pay my monthly bill.

Good to know I can set auto payment. We do this with most payments we have. Late payments really screw up your credit score. You will get a bill. You can set things up online if you'd like which is what I did on a couple of past purchases with no issues at all.
As for payments, it works just like any credit card promo. As already noted, do not miss a payment. I set them to go out automatically.
The "set it and forget" method.
So be careful I opened an account when I got my S21 ultra, and paid it off only after a few months, and they closed my account. Now they want to re-run my credit to open a new account.
Yes if your inactive for a period of time your account will become inactive. I believe you then need the original email and password associated with the Samsung account. If you don't remember your original password. The yes, you will need to reapply. It is a hard hit, to your credit score, but doesn't do too much damage on its own. Too many hard hits will effect it though.
This is true of any credit account. I would think TD Bank would inform you of an inactive account, though, before closing it. You'll know when you buy a new phone and choose Samsung financing; if it's still open, it will just apply to that account; if not, you'll need to supply SSN#, etc to open a new one.
Unfortunately Samsung and TD bank are not very communicative. Each tells you to call the other. People with active accounts according to TD bank, are still often unable to get Samung.com to recognize the account upon checkout. The account goes inactive on the Samsung side, not with TD bank. That's the problem. But other than that, the TD bank side handles things well IMO. Never had a problem with them.
