Samsung G5 says SD card is blank or has unsupported files

Went from S4 to S5. Pictures transferred perfectly. A week later, they disappeared.
Is there anywhere to look for them

Try plugging it into a computer. You will however need a micro SD adapter but usually they are pretty cheap to buy. You may have got one with your SD card.
