I go to YT or FB or other places, and you can’t copy info. on Samsung gal s10+
Which I always did, when not on Samsung.

Is there something I can set, so it works?

Ex

A recipe on a reel on FB
They put the recipe here on description

You can’t copy the recipe on Samsung. I have to go on laptop to copy it.

Same with YT

Ingredients are listed

You can’t copy on Samsung gal S10+, have to go to laptop.

One of the most annoying things I have found with Samsung since I changed to Samsung.

I asked others (with other phones) and they can do it. And I used to be able to do it when not on Samsung.

Help .. before I throw phone in garbage lol

TIA

I have no idea. I can't even open that link on desktop PC, because I don't have Facebook.

The link isn't important. If it works, it was just to show how you can't copy recipe.
There is one on YouTube. Maybe you can see that? Where you can't copy.
In description of youtube link, is recipe. You can't copy info.

Until I got Samsung phone, I could copy info..

With Samsung, I can't copy the info... And others with iPhone or any phone but Samsung, can do it.

This info., can't copy on Samsung.
Have to go to laptop to get it.
With any other phones, you can do it.
And I could, until I got Samsung.

Take screenshot. Select text. Paste into Samsung Note. Save as whatever file format you want. I chose Microsoft Word format.

I did no editing at all, so it doesn't look pretty, but it works.

It's the YouTube app itself that restrict the copy text option.
It can't be. I could copy before this phone. And others can copy.

And if I manage to pull it up in chrome, I can copy. Hard to get it chome, it wants to open up YT.

In fact, my old blackberry I use for radio, can do it lol

Doesn't work real great, for all the recipes I do. And FB needs to work, too.

Totally giving up Samsung, if this won't work... ever.

Yeah looks like those 2 apps restricted ability to do that , it's same for me .

Can try reaching out and see what both Facebook and YouTube says about this

Chome works for yt but don't always want to do another step.
P.I.T.A. lol

Description

How To Make Veggie Stock From Kitchen Scraps

Here is what you'll need! How to Make Easy Veggie Stock With Kitchen Scraps Makes roughly 3 quarts INGREDIENTS Onions (tops, bottoms, and skins) Celery (tops and bottoms) Carrots (tops, bottoms, and skins) Mushrooms (stems) Garlic (tops, bottoms, and skins) Potatoes (tops, bottoms, and skins) Parsley (stems) You can add many other vegetable scraps (think sweet!) - i.e. corn cobs, winter squash, zucchini, and other squash, beet greens, fennel, chard, lettuce, parsnips, green beans, pea pods, bell peppers, eggplant, mushrooms, asparagus, and herbs like dill, thyme, parsley, cilantro, and basil. PREPARATION Remove the tops/bottoms/skins/stems from any vegetables you are preparing (avoid vegetables like Brussels sprouts, broccoli, or cauliflower as they will add a bitter taste to your stock) and place them in a ziplock bag - they can stay frozen up to 6 months. Continue like this until bag is full. Dump bag into pot and fill ¾ of the pot (or until scraps just start to float) with water. Bring water to a boil and then let it simmer for at least 30 minutes. Strain water out of stock. Refrigerate stock up to 4 days, or freeze up to 3 months.

Seems like it's a Samsung problem.
And who the heck knows who you would contact. Beats me.

For Facebook try Facebook lite in play store and see if still issues?
