Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if it's possible to clear a screen lock on this phone?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central forums.

When you say clear the lock screen do you mean bypass the lock code, pin, or pattern, to access the phone? Two things. First if it were simple to bypass a lock, it isn't a very good lock. Second if it were possible we don't discuss such things here.

If you are asking how to turn off your lock settings Gemini says.

To disable the security lock screen on a Samsung A52, you can go to Settings and change the lock screen type to None or Swipe. [1, 2]
Steps [1]

1. Open Settings
2. Select Lock Screen or Screen Lock type
3. Enter your current lock screen credentials
4. Select None or Swipe

Note [3]

• Disabling the screen lock removes any protection for your device. [3]
• Removing the PIN, pattern, or password will also remove any biometric data you may have saved to your device. [1]
• You can only use Fingerprints, Face, or Iris Unlock methods with a back up PIN, pattern, or password. [1]

Let us know what you find.

Hello Vid Junky,

Thank you for your reply. I fully appreciate what you are saying and was expecting a view of possible illegality/theft going on here, but it is not that, although I also appreciate this is just me saying that.

Your second point list of actions is something I cannot do, as I cannot get into the settings, etc.

This is a phone that was issued by my previous company and then upgraded to an A54 during employment. In the upgrade the old phone was not taken back, nor was it asked for when I left (the A54 was asked to be returned).

Therefore I was hoping to be able to use it for two reasons; it is better than my current personal phone and also whilst I get the whole security/theft, etc, issue with a multitude of phones in daily life, I also find it staggering that all these phones, especially old company phones that are just written off, are not put to better use and go some way to reduce waste.

Thanks again.

Also FYI, it's not that we suspect you of doing something shady -- it's just that any discussions about bypassing security could be give others an idea about how to go about shady stuff. :)
