Samsung Galaxy A6 Tablet, alarm sound option not working

So I click on Clock, add a new alarm time, set all the required features however, when I click the Alarm Sound (Which has "silent") underneath - the app crashed and reopens. Say app has stopped. The alarm is intermittent working, reads out the time but I can't change the tone type from default.
