samsung Galaxy ace won't root

hi im a first time poster and my ace wont root i have tryed all youtube videos and followed step by step and the phone dose everything that they say to do but when i try to use a app that needs root it says the phone needs to be rooted. i would be most grateful to anyone that can help me

Thanks for your comment but the Ace 2 is different to the Ace GT S5830 which your link is for.

Im having the same problem. I already rooted my Ace but when Kies updated my phone to Baseband Ver: S5830XWKT8, i lost my root access. I've tried again and again using different root zips but the phone is not rooting. Hope anyone could help.
