It looks like you're with Sprint so you'll have the obligatory extra wait period. First Google updates, then Samsung has to put their Touchwiz spin on it...then the rest of the world gets the update...then we wait for USA carriers to test and add their junk to it...then we get it.
So far, we've gotten updates about 3 months after they've been released (on the Galaxy S3). What I can say is that Samsung is a lot better at it than HTC is, at least lately. The flagship HTC One X is STILL waiting for Jelly Bean 4.1.1...which the Galaxy S3 has had since early December.
If quick updates are important to you, your only choice is definitely a pure Google phone like the Nexus 4. If the Nexus 4 had LTE I would totally have ditched my S3 just for the pure Google experience...even though I love my S3.
