I'm debating on if I should cancel. I really want to try this phone out, but I have an iPad Pro so I don't technically need this phone. I'm just hoping I feel it's worth the value. Apps aren't really optimized for it and only average camera quality are my biggest fears.

I just canceled mine and reordered the Note Ultra. The Fold looks awesome but I am going to wait two more generations to get one.

The things that made me change my mind were, the step down in cameras. I don't care about zoom but i want the 108mp sensor and wide angle lens from the ultra. I heard camera quality isn't bad but a step down.

No IP certification. I don't really need or care about it but at this price point I want it. i also have some durability concerns.

Finally the $200 off for a form factor and functionality I know works great.

I get it. It's really my feeling that the Fold 2 is an auxiliary device to have in the stable next to something else that has better cameras, more storage, and an IP rating. That's an expensive proposition but it makes sense to me.

On the shop Samsung app it still says ships by 18th whereas the website says 28th. Personally think just their interface inconsistencies and I still stand by receiving them on September 16th or earlier

Also people in reddit are reporting those who ordered directly via AT&T had their shipped yesterday and delivered today.

I'm guessing Samsung.com will process their orders early next week and ship on Monday or Tuesday.

Big debate over this in reddit. Lots of orders are now showing up delayed or backordered even those who ordered on day 1. I ordered an unlocked Samsung Mystic black and I've got a ship by 9/18 on the app and a deliver by 9/28 online. Couple that with the fact that apparently some att models actually delivered today and youve got a major launch fail. A behemoth like Samsung should do better. Imagine the outrage if this was Apple.

He got that one right, software in current state is really bad. I haven't even reached out to my surface duo that many times today

I don’t know how fast they will be in fixing the issues or even if they can.

Yeah it was weird seeing him struggle to bring up the app drawer. But unfortunately plenty of valid issues in terms of software quality in the current state.

I just cancelled my pre-order for my Fold. If the cameras weren't trash I would've kept it. I figured Samsung could make a good quality 12MP camera system but I guess not. Hopefully next year they use the same camera system as the Note series to really justify the cost. I'll wait one more year before jumping on the Fold train. Glad I watched some reviews on it.
