I picked a Mystic Bronze and Galaxy Watch 3 up at BestBuy yesterday and wow the Fold is a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be.

First off I must say the phone is very nice, build quality is top notch but comparing side to side with my iPhone 11 Pro Max it feels like the Fold is still made out of aluminum. Yep just confirmed on GSMArena the Fold has an aluminum frame. WTF is sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ allergic to any other metal?

For $2000 why is this phone not made of steel or titanium? Seriously ridiculous and I brought this up before but the SIM card tray is still a flimsy little piece of crap.

The screen looks beautiful and the speakers are amazing holy cow!!

The big negative for me is the software experience. Sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ doesn’t think things through for example why can’t you turn off auto rotate for the front display but keep it on for the inner display or having two different setups for the outer and inner displays?

I have a nice personal dictionary setup on my iPhone and for the life of me can’t get a suitable alternative on the Fold 2 which is annoying.

As for the watch it can’t hold a candle to the  watch in my opinion. I looked at easily 150+ watch faces in the galaxy store last night and I could only maybe 5 that I liked. Again this is my opinion but I think the watch faces are crap LOL. So many are way too busy.

This will be the 4th time I’ve tried sʌᴍsᴜɴɢ and I can say it’s not for me haha.

This phone is $2000 so it should have top notch premium everything.

More premium = more expensive.

Stainless would make the phone ridiculously heavy.

Titanium or any other metal would make the phone ridiculously more expensive than just $2000.

They sold around 400k first gens. There not out to sell less with a more expensive phone.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! all of my grandparents are gone now. Lost 3 before the age of 10 so get kind of jealous when people get to keep them into their 20s and 30s.

T-Mobile just called to verify the order and address, said it will ship today on ground. They did ask if I was a T-Mobile customer which I said yes, since technically I am now since I purchased a case from them. Anyways it was nice that they actually called and confirmed the order, and confirmed that it will ship today.

IN the last year I've had the 11 Pro Max, Pixel 4XL, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, and the Fold 2. Both S20's are gone and I think I'm about to ship off the 11 Pro Max but the Note and Fold are staying.

WOW! that is sharp. I saw the blue hinge with mystic black yesterday and wished I had got that one but I think this looks even nicer.
