So, I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime 2016 and found out that more than half of the 8GB onboard storage belongs to the system and other default apps bundled with it. To remedy this, I bought a Samsung Evo+ 64GB card.
The problem is whenever I move an app to the microSD card via Device maintenance->Storage->Applications->(choose an app)->Storage->Change->(my microSD card), the app moves but what still shows in Device maintenance->Storage->Applications->(moved app)->is the same size.
I verified that this is the case by removing the microSD card and running a moved app, it wouldn't start.
I am very disappointed because now I really cannot install any of the apps I use on my old phone which takes up 300-400MB and above each.
Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? Or a workaround (which excludes rooting since I don't want to void the warranty)?
