Samsung Galaxy J7. Apps don't work without wifi.

I got a new phone recently, but I cannot not use apps like pandora and spotify when I am not connected to wifi. I have checked to make sure I didn't turn my data off, so that was ruled out. I checked settings for the apps themselves too. From what I can tell, it should be working. Airplane mode is off, so it's not that either. Phone calls work, just not my data. Help?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you contacted your carrier about this? Also, have you checked your APN settings to make sure they're correct?

Another thing to check is Settings>Data Usage​, and make sure Restrict Background Data is turned off.
