Anyone figure out a way to disable the app completely without a root and or a launcher? I just find the accidental upward swipes on the home screen to be annoying when it opens up an app.

If you install Nova Launcher, it will do away with that annoying upward swipe. Your tablet will also run faster

I don't really want to use a launcher and in terms of performance I don't see any need for the table to run faster. It does everything I need it to just fine. I was just trying to see if anyone has had any luck finding an advanced setting or something I missed.
