Have you read this thread and related articles? There is nothing wrong with the note 3 camera. No update is coming for issues that are not there. Read some of the links I posted. Some blogs have gone in depth blasting the note 3 against the 20mp z1 and the 1020 lumia. The note 3 has one of the best cameras on a cell phone to date. Comparing the note 3 to the galaxy nexus concerning camera updates is a half truth. The galaxy nexus [had one] needed that update. The note does not need a camera update. It does need a wifi update tho.

Camera is oddly inferior to my previous S4. It defiantly doesn't stack up to the iPhone 5 series. This has to be a software issue or maybe the lack of image stabilization but I highly doubt that

I totally disagree i think it is your phone that has the problem. My phone has been taking excellent pictures. Even compared to my wife's 5S my pictures are much better in her opinion and mine. Compared to my friends S4. still better. Mine does not need an update for the camera.I think those that are having issues with their camera on their phone should return them and stop complaining. I have had No issues at all. What is the use of coming on a forum and complaining about every little thing. I think it is a waste of time. If I had a problem with mine I would return it as soon as I can or at least after trying to see if adjustments worked. After a week after trying it and you still have a complaint then it is your fault for keeping it. Rant over!!!

Now this phone IMO is the best all around phone put out by Samsung and Android.. There is just so much I can do with it. I used it the other day with an overhead projector at a meeting. I used it for people to digitally sign a document. I love using it at work and I love how the iPhone people look at how much more my phone can do over their phone. Love it with play with my family. My wife is a hatter of mine phone also. She said she would love it over her iphone if the GNote 3 was smaller.

I love the camera! MKBHD recently rated it as the very best available today, and even comparisons against the iPhone 5s say that it is better in most aspects, bar low light performance. Can't really get why people are complaining, really...

The Note 2 is a nice device too. No need to have to put up with what you think is mediocrity when you can have a Note 3. The rest of us Note 3 owners will somehow, some way limp along with our mediocre-camera'd Note 3 while you bask is Note 2 glory.

That is just it. It is someone's opinion. Sure, it is a tiny fraction that have that opinion. The nice thing is everyone gets one. Evidence is abundant supporting the facts. Anyone with some mild intelligence can search for many articles on this matter. The *truth* and *opinions* are out there.

ZarathustraHead is trolling. He probably do not even have the phone. Because if it was someone that really did not like the phone they would of returned it not get on the forum and keep repeating the same thing over and over again. This camera is bad ,my S4 camera is better then the camera. He keeps repeating himself.

But is it *needed* because the camera sucks? Not even. They improved on the camera that the note 2 had so *expecting* a update is a little fleeting. I think we are *all* opened for improvement. We are on AC addicted to our phones are we not? Lol.

Agree, camera is awesome for me. We have the hardware and that is already fixed. However, i would also love any performace improvement on th software side.

I guess I just feel the Note 3's camera is good and good enough...and good enough is all I need to enjoy the rest of the awesome phone. Like I've said before. When I want really good quality I have dedicated prosumers and a decent point-n-shoot for those occasions.
