I get a lot of good feedback from you guys so I'll try this here.
Upon seeing weird graphical tweaks and having wonky responses on my screen I've nearly thrown my phone out the window. I've realized that the bottom half of my screen is 100% unresponsive, but the top half works perfectly. What threw me off was that the S Pen worked everywhere. I knew it wasn't a simple hardware failure because my incoming calls and "power off" menu were both re-positioned and slightly redesigned. I stumbled across this thread which I think nails it on the head. The locations of the call notification and power menu are both exactly where you'd find the window of a Smart Case. Either due to a magnet, an electronic signal, or simply buggy software I am confidant I am stuck in Smart Case mode.
Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? I REALLY don't want to have to unroot and then be forced to use a refurb... How about Titanium Backup - anyone know of, or how to find the source of the Smart Cover actions so I can freeze them?
