Android Central Question

I know, this sound crazy, but I'm serious.

On my Note3, right when I turn it on, it just starts pressing random things, even though I'm not touching the screen at all. It's gotten so bad that I can no longer press ANYTHING at the top of the screen. I'd like to know how to fix this so I can actually do stuff on it, without it opening a random app or zooming in/out rapidly.

The problem could be my missing S Pen. I dropped my phone once, the S Pen sitting in it's slot, then when I pick the phone up, behold.. the pen is nowhere to be found, I have looked everywhere for it, and I can't find it.

If you could help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

A few years ago I had a similar problem with the HTC Evo that I had at the time. I was convinced that the phone had been hacked.

After talking to a few friends, I leaned that the 'phantom touches' were being caused by a bad Screen Digitizer.

Unfortunately it sounds to me like you will need to get a new phone

That is unless you are able to replace the screen on your Note 3.

Phantom touches could be caused by a number of things. A bad screen is certainly a common one, but anything that disrupts its ability to detect electrical signals is suspect. I'd suggest having a shop properly diagnose it before replacing parts at random, but that phone is so old that you may as well replace it all together.
