Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Rear camera glass crack

the galaxy S5 had the same problem when it first came out, i think it is a design problem, there must me a sticky or somthing covering this issue.

I dropped my phone and cracked my rear camera glass.. i did some research and it seems like it's a pretty easy repair if you have the replacement parts but i could not find anything online yet. I called samsung but they said i have to send it to them for repair.. cannot send the parts only. Do you guys know where i can find a replacement part for GN4 rear camera glass? I see bunch for S5 GN3 online..

Note 4 Camera Cover Lens is now on ebay. Bought gor kess than $7. When it arrives I will give it a go. Looks aimple enough. Def not worth $200 for insurance or the $70 Samsung wants to fix.

I had the same issue with my phone. I had a crack in the glass within 24 hours of owning the phone. After quite a lot of time on the phone with AT&T I was able to convince them to replace it under warranty.

The same happened to me. Did not drop the phone. No visible marks anywhere else on the camera body. Went to take a picture and it looked like crap. Saw that the lens glass was shattered. There is no way that this is coincidence. I am inclined to believe that it is a design flaw as well.

My lens cracked when I dropped my phone. I found a phone repair place and they charged me 40.00 for part and labor.

This same issue was posted about the S5.

As far as putting this phone in your pocket, you have to be careful doing that. No snug pant's pockets.

Just bought mine 5 days ago. Noticed a small crack this morning. It hasn't been dropped at all. I'm so pissed. Call t-Mo and they said it would be an insurance claim. Samsung said it's not a warranty issue, but they would fix it. This sucks. I wonder how hard installing this $2.90 part would be. It looks like there is a little notch next to the camera lens. Has anyone tried replacing it?

Give days ago is a new phone, not a warranty. You have 14 days to return it. I would get a manager involved.
