Gotcha. Yea I have a pair of PortPlugs, but was afraid to use them sine the material they're made out of is quite hard and not as soft as silicone.

I still haven't gone case crazy. I got a Big Sur Otterbox Defender and the Caseology Legion. I usually end up with about 3 cases or so. The S7 I went case crazy. Buying Incipio level 4 and 5 cases, Supcase, two Defenders, a knockoff Defender. I'm trying to go for quality over quantity. I always have a backup case though which is the Caseology. I thought about the Unicorn Beetle because it has a built in screen protector but I'm hearing with the thicker material that is needed for the curved screen is that it has touch issues just like the Defender for the S7 edge did with its screen.

I will probably get one more case though. I might give the Supcase a shot or maybe even get a black defender but one of the imitation ones though that run about $15 on Amazon. I'm not spending big money on another case that's the same.

Just added the Noreve today after ordering it a week and a half ago. Very nice, real leather case, the best I've seen or tried in my 10+ years of having cases like this on phones. Nice and slim also. Not nearly as bulky as some of the other less expensive ones I've tried. I believe this one's a keeper! Oh, and it smells SOOOO GOOOOD!

My modified by me Noreve genuine leather case. I cut out the card slots and bill holder and added an upholstered carbon fiber plate in place of it as well as adding a hole for a lanyard.

Just got the Samsung Rugged Case, like new on Amazon for $32. Gotta say, great looking and feeling case. Definitely adds a little bulk, but the kickstand and the fact it's screen protector friendly is a plus. I'll be switching this and the Patchworks ITG case as my daily drivers......

It's nice! Definitely an eye catcher....the only draw backs are the added thickness and minimal front protection. But I love the kickstand

Awesome. That would kind of bug me probably bout minimal front protection. Can deal with the thickness. Does it work decent on wireless charger? I got both the flat Samsung wireless charger and Samsung convertible one.

The wireless charging is "hit n miss". It'll charge for a bit, then just stop charging. It's recommended to remove the case when charging...hope that helps

Lol I figured as much. My convertible one is hit and miss when I have a thick case on and standing of straight up. Works fine straight up if I have thin case on. Works great if I have phone sideways or flat. Lol. Thanks very much

However, I'm not overly fussy whereas I know some folk can be!

Update on the Pelican Protector case. While removing my phone from the case I heard a loud "Crack"
I crapped my pants thinking it was the Note 8 screen cracking only to find out it was the Pelican Protector case that snapped.
