samsung galaxy note gt n8010 stuck on samsung logo

my tablet gets stuck on the SAMSUNG logo, it wont let me do a hard reset , as when i hold volume + and power button all that happens is SAMSUNG GALAXY 10.1 comes up then goes off over and over. ive tried connecting to my pc , but that doesnt work either as it fails to download required drivers/software. ive also tried disconnecting the battery , but same problem . anyone got any ideas? or is it just a peice of scrap?

Unfortunately, as you've probably gathered by now, it's probably failing hardware.
