Samsung Galaxy Prevail Camera Questions

Would like to hear some feedback about the camera from those who have sampled this phone in person. I know the specs say it has a 2MP cam. Some 2MP's are better than others. Can someone give their impression of the photos or even better post some photos taken with the Prevail?

Also there is mention that this camera has a flash for the camera (but looking at the cam in the YouTube videos I don't see a place for the flash). Can someone please tell me where the flash is? Sorry, I don't see it. Thanks all.

(The videos say that the openings beside the camera lense is the speaker)

there is no flash and it sucks, my wife has it. its also really bad gettin good signal compared to my optimus v

I have had the Prevail for about a week. I really like everything about it. (I'm new to Android phones) The one area it fails in is the camera. It really us useless. The main reason is there is no autofocus. Since there is no autofocus you lose one of the best features of android the upc scan feature. I like the phone will probably keep it but it really needs a better camera.

Does anyone know if the camera can be helped by software? I have root.

use "color Touch" to gain back the auto contrast ...before and after
