Samsung Galaxy S sporting Gorilla Glass

I get it, this is old news. Thanks for being cool with the noob about it.

Why are they writing the article like it is groundbreaking news?

This makes me happy as heck! Im not rough on my phones on purpose, but between an active lifestyle added into work abuse I was worried that the phone would show signs of wear sooner rather then later. But then again Im coming from a pre so Im used to things not lasting...

Actually, I'm a total geek and I had no idea. I had already seen that video with the scratch test, but I didn't know it was actually Gorilla Glass brand.

I didn't know about it either, but I heard something about Gorilla Glass in some phones posted way back in July.

Yup then Ill save my $30 and pump it into the HDMI cable, the compostie tv out cable and the extended battery (hoping for a 3000Mha + battery from seidio). ;)

Omfg double battery life would be amazing. Too bad it'll make the phone even more huge, but whatever. Is it even worth getting a case at all?

How much is the deductible if I lose my phone?

Whatever, no phone is perfect. Should we know the deductible fee already if the phone isn't out yet? It varies phone to phone obviously.

Yeah I dont mind the extra weight and thickness. I had a double sized battery in my pre and it was noticably bigger but actually made the phone better in my hands. Plus I went from barely a day of use (if I was lucky) to getting 2-4 days of use.

I thought the deductible for the G1 was 130?

The G1 is Tmobile, not Sprint. Go to sprint's TEP page. They have 2 tier deductibles. Tier 1 phones all have $100 deductibles and tier 2 all have $50 deductibles. The Epic 4G isn't on the pdf yet, but I VERY HIGHLY DOUBT that they will add a new deductible just for the epic 4g, especially since its retail value doesn't seem to be any higher than the EVO 4G.
