Samsung Galaxy s2 lcd cracked but not glass...can it be fixed?

Ok so I was in a pretty bad car accident a few weeks ago, and my phone in my pocket saved me from getting my hip broken. So I have a galaxy s2 4g from boost mobile. Now it charges and comes on i think, all my buttons light up but no sound, and nothing on the screen. Now the glass doesn't look broken but when i run my finger across it, its smooth and the cracks look like its the screen under the glass! I guess my question is....can it be fixed or not? and is the glass and Lcd separate? Can i do it on my on?
