Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE i727r gallery not showing some sd card images

Hi there, not sure if anyone else if having this issue. I just noticed yesterday that after saving images to my phone from my browser they usually show up in my downloads folders in my files. Today I went and moved them to a folder I have on my SD card and they do not show up in my Gallery on my phone. I've noticed some of the pictures in my sd card are in my gallery but not all of them. What is going on?

I just solved my problem with a comment on another thread. I downloaded the app "Rescan SD" and the problem is solved. All my SD card images are showing in my gallery now

Thanks you saved me a lot of time I down loaded Re Scan SD and there were all my photos

Hi,
I've been using my Galaxy S2 for a year and half now, had no problems so far but for the last 2 days, every time I go into my Gallery and go to the Camera Folder to try and look at the photos the Screen Freezes and after a while a message comes up saying "Gallery not responding do you want to Wait or Close". I'm baffled!!! I've taken out the Battery for a while but nothing seems to work, I even downloaded the " Rescan SD" no joy!!:-( PLEASE HELP WITH GOOD ADVICE SOMEONE)
