Based on Zip Code 43824 in Ohio ZIP Code 43824 - Free ZIP Code Map, Statistics, Shipping, and More and the Verizon coverage map Coverage Locator... It looks pretty spotty there in Fresno, OH. Huge swaths of the zip code show no coverage..

Additionally, Verizon is a CDMA network and will only run Verizon Branded phones. You did not state if the S2 you have/are looking at is a Verizon variant...

Also, the Galaxy S2 was not offered for Verizon. Therefore, the model S2 you likely have is for a GSM carrier and will not work on Verizon.
