The only thing I read was a new ultra wide camera with 50 MP instead of 12 MP.

Note is a better name to me because it includes S Pen to take a note.

Won't the "Ultra" contain a pen? Is there no note taking option on it?

I'm still using the Note 20 Ultra, but it's time for new tech for me so this is an option.

I had a few Notes with the S pen and I honestly miss the convenience of said pen. Never a need to go scrambling for one of those yellow sticky notes and a pen. How many times did I find a pen and it didn't even work ugh!!!

I'm already leaning on switching back to Samsung from my Pixel Fold so if Samsung does decide to release the next S Ultra with a pen then I'm definitely, without a doubt switching over. I'll even preorder at 1201am on the day it's released like what I used to do back in the day haaaaaaa

But we'll see??

My Sis has the s21 Ultra. It has Spen support but not a slot for it in the phone. Hers didn't even come with a Spen, it was a separate purchase. (But my s24U Spen works fine on it.) Spigen made a phone case that would allow the Spen to stay with your phone.

Thankfully, the s22 Ultras through the s24 Ultras all had the embedded Spens. Which was great, as there is no way I would have been able to keep my sneaky little parrot from chewing the Spen up.

Personally, I'd be fine if it didn't come with an S-pen. Even though I've always been a "Note" fan, since they usually bring the top specs, I'm not a huge S-pen user. It seems in the past, when the S and Note were separate, a lot of the time, the Note was basically a more beefed up version of the S line with an S-pen.

Kind of miss that. I would also be okay if Samsung released more devices like the S21U with S-pen support, but without it having to necessarily be a "Note," device. I feel the closest we've kind of gotten to that in years it seems is the S24+.

Do not like those rounded corners. If it is released as shown, might be time to jump back to Pixel! They need to bring back the 10X camera with improvements. The 5x is a big failure in comparison. Might be time to jump back to Pixel!

Let me see if I understand You right... because of the rounded corners and the 5x camera You want to switch to a pixel with rounded corners and a 5x camera

...but You are right, there is room for improvement regarding the cameras and Samsung has to do a lot to regain the title for the best camera phone, and the Ultra should be nothing less, especially for the high price!

I have not moved back to Pixel due to the rounded corners. Always preferred the square look and I do like Samsung products. However, if both have rounded corners and 5x camera, then, if person likes the Pixel products why not jump back to pixel. Note the Jump Back. I came from the Pixel to the S24U.
I do like the S24U, even if I believe I should have remained with the S23U. However, being a phone junky I need to update every year.
