Samsung galaxy S3 gallery

Hi. I have a problem with galaxy s3. My gallerx takes ages to open and i can't delete nothing in it... when i erase pictures in my documents they still show up in the gallery.. my friend has s3 too but his gallyri takes 1 sec to open up and show pictures.. mine takes 2 minutes or more.. he has no problems with it... can you help me pleasee?

Are you running a task killer or cache cleaner?

Im using battery doctor if it helps it has some kind of task killer i think

The task killer may be why the gallery takes so long to load. As for reasons why you can't delete photos, I do not know.

It may not work, but try clearing the cache of your gallery app. You can do so by going to settings> all apps> gallery> clear cache. Curious, have you tried a third party gallery app? If so, is it exhibiting the same issue?
