Samsung Galaxy S3 stops during updating

Hi everybody...
my Samsung Galaxy s3 was updating and all the sudden it saysTHE PROCESS HAS STOPED
i have tried to download it from my laptop through ODIN but it didnt work.
PLEAS HELP :'(

Really need more information...
What model/carrier/firmware did you have?
Does the phone still boot normally despite the failure of the update?
Was your phone rooted? If so, which Recovery are you running?
What file are you trying to flash via Odin? You did put the phone in Download mode before attempting to use Odin, right?
