See tbh, id rather try harder n get the Note2 or maybe the DNA.
N4 is gona be MONTHS until its in your hand then the s4 specs will be leaked and youll be :banghead:
N4 has no sd slot so unless u have good unlimited data then the s3 :)

Well, you got a point, but the reason i'm only choosing between these two is because of their price $300

but, yeah i'll be damned if the s4's spec is leaked after i got my s3
but the price is just so irresistible, and my n4 probably will arrive next week, if i don't cancel it

Actually the HTC One XL or XPlus is really nice and I prefer that over N4 or S3... If I were in the market for a new phone.

It's plenty fast for a smartphone and more flexible than iOS which has stagnated a bit.

That said for mainly gaming Adreno 300 seems good for a smartphone hence the HTC One X Plus it has Adreno 300.

Even the HTC One X has Tegra3 and say what you will for now games like those which use the Unity Engine do use it well - Nexus 7 gaming is plenty fine going into 2013.

i love the spec on n4 and there seem to be no visual problem with the nexus 4 despite its price.

the on-screen navigation is just annoying. i saw the video someone using galaxy nexus full screen but they need to wipe with two fingers, there is other way around but it doesn't feel natural to me.

if the s3's spec can keep up with apps and games in about two years it would be perfect with nice camera and expendable storage (to me)

i can buy the s3 for $300 while its current price is ~ $576 after about a year if i want to change to s4 i can sell it and get back the money i spend on it
with the n4 i probably cannot sell it for $300 after the s4 was out.

Get a global (dulux?) Droid dna mate (j butterfly)
Expandable storage on the global, perfect (imo) 5" screen, no idea of price, im in dreamland lol :)

Or s3 GT-i9350? (Unsure of price tbh)

One thing is for sure. Galaxy S3 can natively play MKV and AVI videos (in addition to many others), no conversion needed. Nexus 4 cannot, as well as my Nexus 7. Pure Jelly Bean is nice, but Samsung has a more user friendly interface. Even the weather widget on the S3 is sweet, allowing me to swipe through different cities weather. My Nexus 7 weather widget is lame. Sorry, when it comes to Samsungs implementation of Android vs Googles, their are pros and cons for each.

Yeah dude my favorites on my wishlist is One X+ and Droid DNA.

Though DNA seems a bit too big and expensive for me. One X+ white seems really nice.

The features are the best on the s3.

More impressive.

Nexus 4 is no slouch though

Feautures are just a selling point. Every single feauture in the s3 tv ads was disabled within days on my s3.

Really? I went the other way. Every feature was enabled and I use most of them. The only one that does not get a ton of work is beam but that is only because the wife doesn't have one yet....

Yeah the features are great. Only one I didn't use is smart stay because use it never worked. No matter how much or little light is in the room the screen still cut off.

Hardware, the GS3 still has the perks of sd memory and removable batteries.

Other than that the nexus has the advantage.

But overall the GS3 is a better phone until nexus can mimic those features.

Any way a dev can hack those features and enable them on a nexus?

The hardware advantage isn't that big and even without the sdcard you have better storage options.

No those options cannot be baked into a nexus as they are right now. They are dependant on the proprietary Touchwiz libraries. Eventually most of them will find their way there.

Just wrote whole thing basicly like Pizza and it wouldnt let me post it lol :)
im surprised there arent more clones by now though built from the ground up.
Can a 3rd party dev be sued by an OEM?

On an idea?
Just ive never seen whatsapp sued by RIM (maybe a bad example lol)
Ideas shouldnt be patentable i think.... only the engineering or code imo
