Samsung Galaxy S4- att sound does not work, right after boot up its very laggy and unresponsive

I have a galaxy s4 and the problem is that when i boot the phone up the att thing does not have the sound and then after that the becomes laggy and is really unresponsive to where you cant use it at all ive also tried to factory reset, wipe cashe, and with the recovery mode i really need a solution it rarely ever works

Welcome to Android Central! Is it rooted or unrooted? If rooted, are you running a custom ROM?

If unrooted, have you tried Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11724

You could also try re-flashing the firmware, using either Kies or Odin. Kies can search for the firmware on its own. Steps for Odin are here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html
