Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition - T-Mobile 4G LTE

Will I need to do anything to its settings or elsewhere to have my S-GS4 GPE negotiate an LTE connection to the T-Mobile network or will it all be automagic?

I had several issues with my S4 GE and T-Mobile. I am supposedly in a good area so I am not sure if it's the phone not working with T-Mobile or what. I eventually gave up researching since I wanted to keep my S4 GE. Several members in this thread pointed to an issue with spectrum's where certain areas could not have 3G/4G coverage. I cannot account for the validity of these statements all I know is it wasn't working so great.

Thanks, and that doesn't sound too hopeful.

I'm out of the county a lot (I'll get back from Europe tomorrow) so a full time annual plan is a waste of money for my needs and I'll be using their $3 per day prepaid plan which is meant to give me my first 200MB of data per day at 4G.

I haven't a clue whether South Florida is refarmed or even what that means or implies. It sound like it's the recycling of some spectrum after it had some prior purpose.

Can anyone tell me what the notification will say on the strength bars if I do achieve a 4G connection?

If I can't get the phone to work properly on T-Mobile I'll have to try ATT using either H2O or ATT's own GoPhone. Any issues there?

Most parts of South Florida (East and West coast) have been refarmed and T-Mobile 3G (HSPA+) is running on 1900MHz.

Finally back in 33139 and there was no problem, automatic connection with a notification of LTE.
