got my phone a month ago and i just noticed around 2 weeks ago that my phone heats up while charging. it says in my charger output: 5.0V---2.0A. how do i stop it from heating up?

also what's the normal battery life of an S4? my wifi is off, phone is on silent mode, it's also on power saving mode and my screen brightness is at its lowest. from 100%, it goes down to around 85% in about 2-3 hours and the only thing i do is send an sms and make a few like 2 short calls (less than a minute calls). more often than not, i dont make a call. so i only text but i dont also text that often. is this normal?

thanks!!!

I can't comment on your battery drain but I can comment on the heat. That's normal.. As the battery charges it will get a little warmer.. It shouldn't be super hot or anything but I do know my S3 has always warmed up a little while charging.
