Samsung Galaxy S5 reboot issue

Got it checked out and they said there is a short circuit in the motherboard that's why it reboots randomly but they want to charge me $167 to fix even though its still under warranty. Is this not covered under warranty ?

See the full warranty coverage details in my previous post. Unless it has been water damaged, I cannot see how, or why, Samsung could charge you. Ask them why and for what the charge relates to.

They said about negligent use. My phone has not one scratch at the front or back has some border scratches only and no water damage :(

Then it is BS. How can one have, "negligent use", of a motherboard? In my country we have the Office of Fair Trading, hopefully you have something similar in Australia that you can threaten them with. Most unlike Samsung, from my experience, to behave like this. Unless there is more to it.

have had the same issue. I decided to uninstall Samsung Milk. Now i haven't had a restart in 5 days. So far so good.
