Samsung Galaxy S5 video stopped working

[AC Question]

Having camera problems today - shutting down and restarting helped with the camera portion (would take a picture but when I went to send it no longer found). It did not help the video problem though. I can take a video, it looks like it is there but you can not open and play or send the video. In the gallery there is a blank spot. When you touch it, what looks like the video comes up (took one of my dog - can see his face) when you touch the play button the message says Unable to play video - sorry, this video cannot be played. Videos that I took 4 days ago still play.

Have you tried changing the video settings? Perhaps if your sd card or something is slow it cannot keep up with the bandwidth?
Unless of course you have been already making videos earlier on your sd card with the same setting, or of course if you are not using an sd card.
