Samsung Galaxy S6 endless restarting during OTA system update

My wife's S6 had an OTA update this morning and it's endlessly rebooting during the blue update screen just after it reaches 26%.

I managed to get into some verbose text view of the update and these are the contents:



The phone is NOT rooted, and never was. I found no means of turning the phone off. I guess I'll have to wait until the battery dies.

Small update... the battery eventually ran out, but once I connected the phone to the charger, it immediately tried (and again failed + restarted endlessly) to install the presumably-corrupt system update. I was hoping I'd be able to get into recovery and reset the phone, but alas I found no means to do so.
