Emailed Samsung about the S6 Active and the colors of the new Samsung S6 phones.
Looks like we get what our carriers want. Not what the rest of the world wants.

After reviewing your e-mail, we understand that you are having concerns regarding Samsung Galaxy S 6 phone. I will provide you with the information to get assistance regarding your query.
I should inform you that, we in e-mail support channel deals only with the technical troubleshooting for the Samsung US carrier based tablets and mobile devices and do not have information regarding details of planing department, future devices(S 6 Active) from our end.
I would like to inform you that, in the US Samsung manufactures the devices according to the carrier requirement and specifications and release/sell them through respective carriers and does not sell the devices directly in the US. All Samsung products are manufactured to the specifications of the service provider for whom they are produced. So, according to carrier requirements only phone color will be decided.
I would like to inform you that, as of now Samsung Galaxy S 6 will be only available in “Gold Platinum”, “White Pearl” and “Black Sapphire” colors in US.
We are unable to speculate when/if this color product might be available due to the fact that this might lead to inaccurate information and confusion. Should this become available, it will be posted on our website. Please feel free to check with us periodically for updates.
