As long as you don't enable third-party app stores and install Chinese-made p0rn apps, you don't need antivirus software on Android any more than on an iPhone.

Not on the Verizon phone - and I couldn't have been happier about. I hate that goddamn app.

I do visit risky sites sometimes but don't enable third-party app's. With all of the financial stuff on phones these days I want to be safe. Will look into Bitedefender unless it is really not going to help.
