Samsung Galaxy S7 - How to backup SMS, MMS, and group messages

I am trying to find the best method to back up my text messages since I am looking to reset my phone. What are the best options for doing so?

I would back up to a micro sd card using Smart Switch. When you open up Smart Switch click the sd card figure at top right.
