I'm running Windows 7 and I'm trying to view my music I added to my Galaxy S7, but the File Transfer is not doing the trick. I can see my phone and its folders if I change the USB setting from 'Charging' to 'Photo Transfer', but not any files. When I change the option to 'File Transfer' my PC doesn't recognize my phone. I was able to add music to my phone under the Photo Transfer setting previously, but when I went back to see the files after disconnecting, I can't see the music files. The folders I placed the music in show up, but I can't view the music files themselves at all (Folders say there is no contents), and I know the music is on my phone because I can see the content on the phone.
To summarize: I can view the phone and its folders using the Photo Transfer option but not the actual music files. However, my laptop does not recognize my phone at all when placed in File Transfer setting. I figure I could see the files if the File Transfer option worked, but as I said my computer does not see my phone when that option is selected. Any explicitly detailed help will be appreciated. Thanks!
