Hi, has anyone noticed this with the S7? Once an SD card is inserted, there's a 0.5 to 1 second wake up lag.

On initial testing straight after the SD card is inserted, you won't notice the lag. Try waiting a minute or so with your phone in standby, and then switching it on. Try it without the SD card inserted. I'm noticing a 0.5 to 1 second lag on average. It's not a big deal, but wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

My SD card is the Sandisk Extreme 64Gb, so it's nothing to do with an incompatible SD card. The phone works lightning quick aside from the wake up lag. Would appreciate any other's experiences.

Update: Just did a software upgrade (must be a very recent April 2016 update, likely within the last few days) and the issue seems to have gone away. If this truly is a permanent fix, and not some fluke, I have to say well done to Samsung!
