Samsung Galaxy S7: Stuck at "SAMSUNG"-logo in boot. Can't turn off phone. What can I do?

My Samsung Galaxy S7 phone (not the edge version) restarted by itself and got stuck where it's showing the SAMSUNG-logo. I'm unable to turn the phone off. What can I do?

Have you tried holding the Volume UP and HOME key, then the Power key to see if you can get things to reset? Attachment shows how to do this and then reset cache partition (might be a good thing to also do). Same instructions will get you to the reboot option.
