Samsung Galaxy S7 Wifi password Too Long to enter

So my dad just bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 today and i went to add the wifi but the password length has more characters than the phone input will allow so it will not let me connect. Is there a quick fix with the phone that i overlooked without having to change the Wifi password?
