My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus

With my smartphones I've used Google Chrome as my web browser. When I receive a link in a text message and click that link Samsung Internet opens. How can I make this stop and use Google Chrome as my default web browser with my Galaxy S9 Plus?

Go to Settings, Apps, hit the 3 dots in the upper right corner, Default Apps, select Browser App

Have you tried Samsung Internet recently? Used chrome for years. Past year I've used Samsung. Especially like being able to sign into sites using fingerprint.

This. I was an avid Chrome user... computer, phone, tablet. Loved how everything syncs together. But last year I switched to Samsung internet on my phone. I love Samsung Pass. And all my Chrome bookmarks are synced as well.

But to answer your question, if you are using the Samsung SMS app and you click on a link, it will open in Samsung internet and I do not believe you can change that.
