Samsung Galaxy search function not working in Gallery?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A55 with the latest Android 15 and OneUI 7
If I do a search in my Gallery,the search does not pick up partial #tags eg if I #hplaptop and do a search on 'laptop' no results found...in the search settings the 'Tag' option is set...

This must be a bug but maybe I'm wrong...anyone have a solution to this?
