Samsung Galaxy SII, Mail ?

How does one disable the Mail App so it won't accept new messages.

I have set up my comcast.net account ,and I don't want to receive any mail to my phone unless I 'am out on the road away from home, I get on my mail on my PC while at home..

I went into Settings > Applications > Running Services > and Stopped the Mail App. from receiving any New mail , but I'm still getting new mail on my Phone. How do I fix this problem ?

Go into the account settings fro that account and set the "email check frequency" to never. You will then have to check manually.
