Samsung Galaxy tab 3 not working

Hi my tablet is charging but the only way I can start it is pressing the power and the volume buttons.After the Samsung logo is on the screen I can hear a sound-music and nothing else after.Can you please give me am advise what to do .I am not in computers ,Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you only press the Power button and keep it down for 10-15 seconds--does it power on? Which volume buttons do you have to press when doing it your way? Do you ever see a screen with an Android figure in the middle, and lots of small text?
